What to look for in a Laboratory!

You must be happy that your results will hold up under scrutiny!

QDL offer:

  • Traceable testing

  • Margin of uncertainty - plus/minus (Every measurement has one.  Does the laboratory know what their's
    is?)
  • Comeback Procedure

  • Retesting available upon request

  • On the spot problem solving if required

  • Experience not experiments
  • Completely independent from government or educational institutions.

Our tests have never been questioned except from a University... and they  were wrong!!!

  • A site attenuation test (SAT plot) (If they don't know don't go!)

TYPICAL ATTENUATION PROFILE OF A GOOD SITE

Site Attenuation Test is the physical measurement of the environment in which the testing facility is set up. Without this measurement, the test results you may vary enormously.

You cannot add/subtract SAT deviations from the data/calibration i.e. the phase could work against you. i.e. you add it to your calibration, the real test situation could subtract it.
